As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, Dr. Clark, Dr. Cole, and Dr. Patel are specialists within the dental community.  They specialize in the following:

• Replacing missing teeth with dental implants

• Removing wisdom teeth and difficult to extract teeth

• Diagnosis of oral cancer

• Removing tumors and growths within and around the facial region

• Treating temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ)

• Treating sleep apnea

• Orthognathic surgery to correct jaw deformities such as an underbite or a protruding chin

• Providing IV Sedation or General Anesthesia for dental procedures

Most of these procedures can be done within our office. However, if necessary, these procedures can be performed at one of our local hospitals. Dr. Clark, Dr. Cole, and Dr. Patel are on the medical staff of St. John’s Regional Medical Center.

Our office is unique in that Dr. Clark, Dr. Cole, and Dr. Patel have had extensive training in providing both intravenous sedation and general anesthesia. Both techniques are a light state of sleep in which the patient is comfortable and unaware of the procedures being performed. Both doctors are regularly tested and are licensed by the State of California to provide general anesthesia.
